Q. What is the difference between “Hand-printed” and “Hand-written” ? [1993-10.08]
A. As gathering image samples of “ETL character databases”, “Hand-printed” characters are filled in with specimens of character categories. “Hand-written” characters are filled in without specimens of character categories.
Q. Does the database include data such that a specific person wrote the same character for multiple times?
A. In general, the answer is no. The only exception is ETL7 that includes data of hiraganas written by a specific person twice on the same sheet.
